Caruso’s Pizzeria has been family-owned and operated since September 1974. Originally co-owned by Renato and John, Renato and his wife Lidia took over in 1980 and have been serving pizza and Italian specialties at the singular Riverhead location ever since. Over the 46 year life span of this restaurant, Caruso’s may have gone through some changes, but some things that have always been the same are the recipes, the freshness, and delicious original taste of the food that we serve. Since 2018, the restaurant has been run by Ron & Lidia’s daughter Gabriella. The look and feel may have changed a bit again, but the crew is young, energetic, and aims to please! And of course, even though the atmosphere has evolved again, the food will always be the same - why change a perfect recipe?!
